On January 5, 2026, 15 passionate Power2Hope volunteers spent the day serving at Feed My Starving Children in Richardson, turning compassion into action: one meal at a time.
Working together on the packing floor, our team measured, sealed, and boxed nutritious meals that will be shipped to children facing hunger around the world. In just one session, our volunteers helped pack an incredible 23,328 meals, enough to provide 63 children with daily meals for an entire year.
The energy in the room was inspiring, music playing, hands moving quickly, and smiles everywhere, but the impact was even bigger. Every scoop of rice, soy, vegetables, and vitamins represented hope, health, and opportunity for a child who might otherwise go without food.
At Power2Hope, we believe service is more than volunteering hours: it’s about creating real, measurable change. This event showed what’s possible when students come together with a shared purpose: small actions adding up to life changing results.
